Loving my home.

I have been in my little cottage for 11 months now. I am still loving it. Poppy the crazy cat is still crazy. She is such good company and I love her so much.

Work is going ok, although I could happily retire today! I'll just have to keep hoping for a lotto win.
I try not to waste my days off on boring stuff, life is too short.

I recently went on an epic road trip from home (near Sydney) to Alice Springs, Uluru and Kings Canyon. It was amazing! I drove 7,000 klms. The passenger I had was not the best.....lots of problems and no longer one of my friends. Lessons learnt and I feel stronger now. My car was awesome and I had an almost perfect drive. (Hitting a sheep was not so good). No damage to the car which was great.

My garden is looking good and we are getting about 5 eggs a day from the girls!
Poppy loves walking in the paddock with me. She is always up for an adventure.

Life and it's ups and downs.

Hi People! Well, I have been through a very trying time. I have been living in my new little abode for 4 months now. I still have my awesome caravan. I ended up living in that for 2 months. Although it was an extremely difficult time, I actually enjoyed living in her.

Now my home is a beautiful little cottage on a friend's property. I am so very lucky! I have a garden and a lovely verandah. My bedroom is huge and above all it is so very peaceful and I feel so happy here!

Another new happening in my life is "Poppy" the slightly crazy, wild and precocious kitten. She is such amazing company. She is always up for an adventure. She has no fear!

New Creative Space!

Well.....I know it's been ages since I wrote something, but life as usual gets in the way of blogging.

I am very excited about my new adventure! I am getting a vintage caravan! Yes! A Vintage Caravan!
I have always wanted a caravan and not necessarily a pristine shiny new one. The old ones have more character for me! Plus I can paint the inside how I like! So the criteria for anything that goes in the van goes like this ~ Colourful, Hippie, Boho, Gypsy and lots and lots of cushions! I love cushions!!

Oh and by the way....My Caravan is called "Gypsy Rose". 

Busy Life

   Well, life has been very busy as usual.  I have lots of things on the go.  I am trying to keep up with my journaling and my art.  I am going to start a new blog especially for my art.
I am doing abstracts at the moment and I have 11 paintings in a couple of cafes in the Blue Mountains.  One is the "Brown Siding Cafe" at Medlow Bath and the other is "Wattle Cafe" at Blackheath.  I absolutely love the freedom of abstracts and using bright colours.  They are not everyone's cup of tea, but that is ok.

Hot day today!

It is a very hot day in the Hawkesbury.  I really want to do some painting but it may have to wait until later. I have been producing lots of colourful abstracts in the last month.  I'm loving my new art space!
I need to do some journaling to document my work. So much to do!!
